Our Curriculum

The Bhartiya School curriculum supports the natural development of the child. The teacher serves less as an instructor and more as a guide or facilitator. Children are encouraged to learn how to learn, thus gaining independence and self-confidence.

Curriculum - KG

During this stage, children are introduced to schooling through enjoyable activities and childcentric learning methods. Our kindergarten aims to nurture each child’s potential, through love, care and encouragement. Through play, children can develop social and cognitive skills, mature emotionally and gain the self-confidence required to engage in new experiences and environment. A whole range of co-curricular and extra-curricular activities are organized for the KG kids throughout the year.

CURRICULUM – PRIMARY (Grades I – V)

Primary education caters to the need of 5-11 years old children through classes I to V. The primary school curriculum at Bhartiya School is fuelled by the natural curiosity that children exhibit at this age. It emphasis is on concept formation, reasoning skills, problem-solving, and creative thinking. Children share ideas and experiences and develop a sense of community and discipline through interactions with nature, people, objects, and the environment. They explore and investigate, consolidate and connect what they learn, ponder over and question it, and then demonstrate their learning in multiple ways.
